It is a learner-based educational experience with horses. Leading Together allows you to do a one-off individual session or a 12-week-based curriculum with a team. We work alongside you to develop real and lasting change. There comes a time when every team needs some help to connect and understand each other. Why do we work with horses?
Horses provide feedback immediately and provide our skilled certified facilitators with an opportunity to identify with what is happening at that moment. Horses are amazing because they are always in the present moment and can’t lie. Because of this they are not overthinking your behaviour and are looking for your calm-assertive leadership.
This program is designed to take you through various modules on a journey of deep learning and insights. Our horses in this program are effective teaching partners; immediately responding to what you do. Our trained facilitators are looking for those “teachable aha moments” that horses identify.
This is the single most asked question we get asked is, why do we work with horses?
Because horses are incredibly astute and sensitive, they can see and feel things that we simply can’t. As prey animals, their senses can even hear our heartbeat. In their world, their communication is silent and rely on finely attuned instincts. Nature provides them with senses that can immediately identify the difference between a calm non-threatening approach and anxious, nervous energy; immediately identifying individuals struggling internally. By understanding the true nature of the horse, we can facilitate outcomes that can be life-changing for our participants.
By understanding why and how horses are aware of our every movement – you will come to understand how effective equine-assisted learning programs are to finding and helping you where you are.
What if I dont like horses?
No worries! We have the most incredible horses that will guide you through. If you aren’t being pushed out of your comfort zone, you aren’t learning. This is an opportunity to overcome fears or preconceived notions. We have a lot of people come who are intimated by horses and by the end they have overcome their fears and have fallen in love. But most importantly they have learnt a lot about themselves. These are often our most successful participants.
Do You do one on one mentoring?
Jannine has been doing on one one mentoring for over 10 years and can establish a program that is suitable for your individual needs. You can have private leadership coaching in a traditional method with sessions booked in remote settings or face to face environment.
Are you certified and insured
Yes, Jannine is a Certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator, with Equine Connections and holds current insurance. She also holds qualifications from Australian Institute of Company Directors, Certified Fundraising Executive, Post Graduates in Management and developed mentoring programs for sector wide leadership and learning.
